So we're one step closer to bringing Eli home.
We've been waiting for an interview with the Embassy in Ethiopia to be scheduled with a person associated with our son's case and it was finally scheduled today for Monday October 22nd at 1:00 pm
(6:00 am our time).
We could be cleared to pick him on the day of the interview, or it could take a little longer. We are praying to clear with no delays and be able to have our boy home in a few short weeks!
Excitement is high around here! It all still feels like a far off dream, but the dream is about to come true!
Our kids are memorizing Psalm 107:1 right now and I think it is so fitting. God is good and we give him all the thanks!
"Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, his love endures forever."
Gosh i can't believe i stumbled on your adoption story today and it's only a couple of days for your adoption interview. - Good luck. I'm the adoptive mother of 2 russian girls, adopted 16 years ago. It's been a wonderful journey.
